I have only watched a little bit of gameplay from this series, but player 2 has played through the “main” trilogy of games. There are 4 mainline games, a remaster, and 3 spin off games. The character uses the power of Oni to fight off the Genma, or demons, in order to complete their task. You play as a different swordsman in every game, but at heart it is a third person adventure game with puzzle elements. The first game, Warlords, was released in 2001 with a remaster coming out just last year. This game may be a bit of a stretch to fit into this category, but I’m pretty sure there are demons and zombies so it stays!
